Mailbox Magazines
Success!

Miscellaneous

Take a look at my post from 2007... We were successful. Mailbox magazines scam has holes in it, especially if your state has protective consumer laws that give you a chance to cancel if you change your mind. California's law empowered me to send a letter to the company at their fax number, and both physical addresses that I could find. I sent the letters registered return mail. One came back, but the other was accepted. My account was cancelled, and my money refunded. Score one for the consumer. If your state does not have laws to protect you, make it your job to let your legislators know that these kinds of scams are unacceptable, and that laws need to be enacted to protect consumers from this type of fraud. Remember, this company is out there to get your money, and will not want to let go. The lesson... Don't buy anything from anyone over the phone. Only purchase things that you have carefully researched. NEVER give up when you have been ripped off!
