This company has called me on average 6 - 7 times a day asking the same question, trying to get me to pay a large amount by giving a 25 dollar discount. I have said no several times however the phone calls still come sometimes within an 1/2 of each other and asking the exact same thing. I called the number on my bank statement and stated, "I want to cancel this account and i don't want anymore more magazine, phone call harrassement or money taking out of my account."

I stated this over 10 times on the phone after waiting 1/2 hour on hold. The account rep then began to argue with me. She kept stating she would figure out a deal for me. I said no, I want it cancelled. I stated that in Indiana we have harrassment laws for phone calls and she said not her fault. I stated that I wanted the account cancelled. I wanted no more magazines, no more phone calls, and no more money taken out of my account.

She then stated that she would try to work something out for me, (like she was doing me a favor) and I stated, Cancel the account, send no more magazines, and do not take anymore money out of my account. She then began to argue with me and I stated how hard is it for her to understand that I wanted it cancelled. I stated that she was to cancel the account or I would be contacting an attorney.

Beware this company or you will find yourself being harrassed. I have already contacted my bank to dispute any further charges put on my account.in Indiana we have laws for phone harrassement but I guess when you have call centers all over the US you can find away to thumb your nose up at state laws and bilk people out of money in hard times.

For a company to be not only harrassing but rude when you call them to cancel your account then I guess laws for companines doing things illegally (phone harrassement and scamming money for worthless things like magazines) is something congress and senate need to look into. Beware this company!!! 1
