AT&T called me and sales representative promised:
Wireless Elite DSL Internet Service.
Free Local and Long Distance Home Phone Service.
Dish Network: America's Top 250 channels, plus 2 Premium packages, all in HD.
They promised all of this for "NOT A PENNY MORE THAN" $132.00 a month, with the ease of having a bill for the same amount every month.
Sales Rep also promised:
Gateway Wireless Router and all other needed equipment, for FREE.
$300.00 in rebate checks for switching all of my sevices over.
From there, the bills were never the same and simply unbeleivable. Anywhere from $150.00 - $600.00. Only two bills in six months were under $200.
Communication w / customer service:
If you could get a rep on the phone after wailting on hold for 30 minutes plus, they were so polite and nice, telling me that they would take care of everything.
What is the problem you ask? The Problem is:
IT NEVER HAPPENED! Nine calls, all the same. The nicest people on the planet, promising the world, but it just never came to pass.
I have been paying the minimum past due amounts to keep the services on till they do what they promise and straighten it out.
One day I called and asked for a supervisor with a direct phone line (the only ones that can immediately adjust an account). The customer service rep gave me to a mid-level floor person, who kept telling me that I could speak to a supervisor, BUT refused to transfer me.
I don't know what to do because they have you over a barrel. They promise to adjust the bill but never do, and If you don't pay the exorbitant rate, they simply shut off your phone and internet.
I would love some help or advice.
