VOX.com And Six Apart Ltd. Sixapart.com VOX The allowed a Blogger on their website to steal my name for a PORN blog

I am the artist of a true, clean art service website. The website is fairly new, and I was VERY disturbed to find that text copy material from my website, including my full First Middle and Last name was being used on a PORN Blog on Vox. This would not be an issue, of course, if the obscene adult "star" actually had my same FULL name. She does not. She simply used my name and some of my website content (perhaps "scraped" form my site?) on a page of her blog site hosted by Vox / SixApart. What is worse, when MY full name is put in a Google search this page ranks HIGH! How many customers am I loosing from them thinking I am a porn star on the side? Is it the blogger's job to take the material down? I don't know - I can't contact her, of course.

I contacted VOX, as Google suggests. They sent me to their parent company, SixApart, who sent me numerous "automated" type responses, saying no Terms of Use / Terms of Service were violated. I read, re-read and copied their Terms of Use, which shows DOZENS of places where their terms WERE violated, and I wrote back. I sent them more info, more info more info and sited US government regulations on libel, slander and defamation. Eventually they stopped answering me. I e-mailed the owner. Nothing. This is not Google's problem, or so they say, but truly, WHO POLICES THE INTERNET??? Has anyone seen the problems this company has had with porn? Is it a wonder they don't have time for "the little guys"? Try Googling "sixapart complaints" and have fun. I am not the only one that has been really RIPPED OFF, in a VERY PERSONAL WAY by Sixapart.
