Hearst Magazines - Good Housekeeping Magazine Continued Subscription Renewal Harassment

In response to another person who has filed a rip off report on Hearst Magazines, I too am being harassed via mail by this company.

I paid up front for a one year subscription of Good House Keeping for a Christmas present last yeat for my wife. Once the subscription has run out, they have been continually sending us the same re-newal notice. I plan to talk to the Better Business Bureau. We have worked hard for a great credit score and will not let some scammers screw it up! I am including this response in hard copy as I send back "ANOTHER" bill!

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Dear Customer,
We extended to you the privilege of paying later for your subscription.By entering into this agreement we anticipated that you would remit a payment when billed. The balance outstanding is now several months past due.

We have sent you numerous bills. We must not insist that you send us your payment immediately.

This will be your final opportunity to resume service on your subscription and restore your good standing.
