Excel Loss Mitigation
I paid this company to short sell my home and they have yet to contact me, and they do not answer their phones

On Feb. 6th a gentleman called me from Excell Loss and told me that he could help me short sell my home. I looked into the business and found that they are registured with the Attorney Generals office and thought that I would be ok. So my husband and I sent all of our personal information and a Cashiers Check for the amount of $698.00. I was then sent an e-mail from the person that spoke to me, it said that another person was going to call me shortly and be my support person through out all the process.

My file has been sent around the office to 5 different people that say they are not able to handle my account so they send it off to someone they say can do it, and that they will call. The last person I spoke to was a manager, and he told me that we was going to walk my file over to my support person and have her call me right then and there. She has never called. Since the 23rd of February no one answers the phones. Now when I try to reach the so called manager, his phone gives off a loud beep and then it says that this phone is no longer in service. I have tried all of the phone numbers I have been given throug-out this ordeal and no one answers the phone.

I do not feel that I will get my money back, but I would like to make known that these people are taking advantage of people already hurting and are needing help and they need to be investigated before they do it again. I am ashamed for even believing in something I new was to good to be true.
