This company is not military friendly

To all military people, this is not the company you want to do business with. I'm a wounded warrior stationed in Walter Reed Army Medical Center in DC.

I had received orders to go to Ft. Bliss, Texas back in January. 01. I needed to transport my vehicles to Ft. Bliss because my orders did'nt allow for my vehicles to be transported so I decided to go with this company to transport them.

I had three vehicles to transport, which where a Ford Bronco, a Chevy Camaro and a Lincoln LS. They charged me half up front which was $750.00. On the 5th of January and the other half would be due on the 25th of January which was the pickup date for the vehicles.

A week later my orders had changed for a new duty station and so I did'nt need there services anymore due to the fact that my new duty station was only a hour and a half away from the one I was already at which was Ft. Lee, Virginia.

I had called them and asked them to cancel my order and that I would'nt be needing there services anymore due to a change in my orders. The lady that I talked to her name was Jennifer, she had told me that my deposit was non refundable.

I asked her when was this disscussed with me? She replied back that it was in my contract. I asked her in what contract? She said that I will fax the contract to you. Now first of all I did'nt sign any contract nor did I hear anything about my deposit being non refundable

When I received the fax it was a document with my name and address with my vehicles and vehicles vin numbers and the location where it was being transported to.

In small print on the bottom of the contract had that your down deposit is non refundable. I took it to JAG and they looked over the documentation and found out the contract was void and that they owed me all my money back.

My lawyer from JAG had got in contact of Mr. Erbstoesser of Atlas and he had told my lawyer that they would refund me back my money and that the only thing they needed was my account information so they could credit it back to my account.

Well the information was exchanged and there was no deposit of anything back in my account. I haven't given up on getting my money back but this does'nt make any sense how companies can get away with doing people like this.
