Seniors are being targeted. My 85 year-old mother got a call from a woman calling herself Beverly McDonald. She was told that she won a new Mercedes and $2.5 million; All she had to do was write a check for $1,500 to pay for fee and taxes. They would arrive at her home the following day at 12 P.M. To deliver the Car and money at which time they would collect her check.

After speaking with Beverly to confirm what my mother had told me, I went on-line to the web site of the Secretary of State of California; no such business name registered. Further, no such business listing in the Monterey, California Yellow Pages. I also contacted my mother's bank to advise them to be on watch for any large withdrawals and promptly call me if any appear. I have made a report to the FBI and local police department here in Sacramento, California.
