Stealing from the Dead

On Friday January 9 Mr. Landy's employees removed several items of furniture from my late mother's storage unit at Andover Storage on the understanding that he was sending out a check for $130. I wrote out my home address and sent it back to him with his employee Noel and you indicated that you would send my check out on the same day.in two emails he claimed to have sent the check. On January 21st I left a phone message letting him know that the check still had not arrived and on January 22nd he left me a message saying that I should contact you if the check had not arrived within a few days. It is now March 2 and I still do not have the check that he said he was sending out on the 9th of January. Even if the check had somehow gone astray there has now been ample time for him to have re-sent it. I trusted Landy to keep his word because my mother had been a customer of the store for over 30 years when his father was in charge. I am especially bothered by this theft because all the time he was stealing my property Landy kept telling me how much he liked and respected my late mother.
