False Advertisment

I have never been so disappointed and disgusted in my life. My husband and I went into the store in Cool Springs, Tn where we were met by several sales associates. I let my husband and the sales person talk me into putting a ring on layaway so that I could bring my diamond back at a later date to be mounted into the ring. I was told more than five different times that at anytime within a month I could call back to the store and ask for a complete refund on the layaway if I decide not to purchase the ring. I called back in less than 2 weeks and was told that I would not be able to get my money back. The company had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and would not be handing out money only merchandise credits. One of the reasons we went into the store was due to the fact that Shane Co. Advertise that they pay for everything they buy, they owe no one. This is not true they owe their customers the same respect and honesty that they portray. They also should honor their policies. I will never buy from this company again.
