It was time to renew my AT&Tcontract. I decided to do it w/Radio Shack. I picked out a phone and was sold the phone. I asked for the phone from a new pkg. Clerk said there is none. I was assured that the phone in question was just fine. I purchased It trusting w/assurance that the clerk new what she was doing. After a short while I began to have problems. I waited until I became more used to the new phone. Problems never stopped. I went back to Radio Shack and mentioned the problems. I was told to bring it to the AT&T store to get it checked out. AT&T technition informed me that there was a problem. However, she could not honor waranty because it had already expired. AT&T said the phone was registerd in in I returned to the store to give the report. I was told by Elliot that the woman at AT&T lied to me. I was refused any help by the store. I said I will upgrade if necassary. I was told that nothing could be done and it would cost me another 300.00. I was outraged and went back to AT&T. After a difficult and humiliating experiance AT&Tgave me a new phone. Howeve, it was the same model that was not manufactured any more. I was unhappy about that. Tried to use the phone and it just dosen't cut it because it is not what I paid for from the begging. I was lied to by Radio Shack and AT&T would not honor the fact that the sale was not honest. Evan though Radio Shack represents AT&T. There fore, AT&T claims that the fault still originates w/Radio Shack and they are the ones that needs to honor the problem created by one of their representatives. I do not believe that I should be ignored and put through so much when it's not my fault to begin with. I have had enough and I expect Radio Shack to slove this problem, I still have a used/outdated phone.
