Still have not received moms life insurance benefits, 6 months ago jacksonville florida

Eported my mom's death soon after in early september they quickly stopped her penion checks HOWEVER when requiring to have an $1800 life insurance policy given to us they knew nothing or passed us on and on (even to people who had nothing to do with kmart) all over north america. After answerinag all info on first paperwork they sent they told us it would be 40 business days before we would receive some more paperwork... All this for $1800? Ok, we received the last paper work much later and signed that yes we would like the benefite for mom in one lump sum and returned that letter having them say ir would be another 40 days til we received our money.

It's been way past then and now i am calling angrily this time and it seems i am starting all over and getting the phone runaround i know it"s only $1800 but my mom worked for kresge and kmart from 1961-1989 and we are not a rich family... She earned those benefits and it really seems to me to be the biggest rip off and i'm sure others have been through the same thing... Some of the people i talk to don't even know the insurance company's name... Please help!!!
