Crooks that hurt people with hope and take their money

Hello, i, m down and out because of this companys lying. They tell to pay them up front and they will get started on your modification right away. Well i was a sucker i gave them my debitcard # to take out $500 doolars which was a deposit the total was $1495.00. No later than 2o min a called back and told this guy i was canceling because of a f rating on bbb. He then transfered me to brent bush, ofcourse i got voicemail. Ileft 2 messages not to take out the money. I even went to my bank and pay for a stop payment but somehow the bank let it go thru. Yes they gave me back my $32 and said they where sorry and goodluck. I, ve filed a affadavid at my back but nothing is working. How in the good lords name can a bunch of crooks get by with this. Now i, m messed up with my mortage company and fighting to keep my home. I wish there was something that could be done before anyone else gets taken.
