Xentel INC
Xentel is a good company for false solistation and early termination

Miscellaneous

Resently, I have noticed I haven't been too consisted with writing any blogs on facebook but I have came to the random conclusion that this particular artcle is an exception to this misfortune (if you have been reading my resent blogs on the late)

When school let's out, many of you are more likely to look for a place of employment either for a way of transition or for extra cash in your pocket for the summer season. What ever the reason claims to have, there should be certain places we should aviod at all causes. One of these places you should definatly ignore is Xentel!

XENTEL (zen. Tell) is a telemarketing company that specializes in charity for local districts linked to fire fighters, policemen and parametics. A "professional paid fundraiser" would call a local individual within the county in which the authorty is districted e. I, Fairfax county, va firefighters etc. The soilisiter would convince the customer that the money donated/pledge will contribute to better fire protection or police programs that tax dollars wouldn't accomplish otherwise. If a client decides to pledge money to these orginizations, then the dealer on the other side would explain the method of payment, usually credit or bank debit cards, if not those two options, the third method; check! After determining the most affordable pledge, the dealer will thank the client and carry on to the next caller on the list.

However, if you do decide to donate to these orginzations over the phone, 86 % of your pledge is going torwards commision and line hour rates at Xetel, only 2% is going torwards the orginial cost. And most of these local counties who are jolted with Xentel have already signed an agreement that Xentell will reacive the bigger half of the charity, leaving only 2 % of the pledge for the actual cause. So if you were to pledge $80.00 to the Fairfax county firefighters today, only 3 dollars will be alternalty pledged.

Sounds like an easy task, right? Actually you're be lucky to accumilate 3 sales by the end of the day. I garrentee anyone who tries to work at Xentel will fail miserably at convining an unknown Joe to donate to their local fire fighters when in fact people who do, have already pledged to the fire department, face to face through an honest funraiser or through a family member who has volenteered. There's nothing more pathtic than your superviser screaming at the top of their lungs for "credit cards" or while In the middle of a call "we need to kick those credit cards in vermont!!!" when you really live in Pittsburgh. It's a job that requires one rejection after aother with common phrases like " I don't do phone solisitations" or " I'm in the middle of eating dinner, do you mine" or " why in the f*k are you calling this residents?!?" 350 of your calls will contain this and there's nothing you can do to prevent it!

On the contraray, you're expected to accumilate 3 sale calls every hour and this is nearly impossible!!! Eventually within your second week of working at Xentel, at the last hour of the day, your superviser along with a manager will fire you! Like they did to me! And your life will suck and you will feel the urge to jump off a bridge... Maybe not to that exereme but in some form.

Please people, save your soul, don't work, never work at Xentel!!! But if they do, the worse thing they can do is have you fired! And that probablitlty is 100/100, soooo don't work there!!! I beg you not to evem waste your time! In fact, if your thinking of working here or any other crookit call center, look out for the following:

1. They hire you on the spot without further interviewing or investigation of your individuality

2. If the company presents training classes every day of the week or every 2 days a week, please stay away. This indicates that lots of people didn't like the task at play. A definate no no!

3. A new employee or unknown face every other week indicates a high turn over rate (the definition of turnover is when someone quites or is terminated from place of employment.

4. When after the second week, your manager ask to see you in the office, this indicates that your about to be fired, terminated!!!

Look out for these common signs and goodluck torwards finding a job next summer!!!
