I went to court today to ask for a order modification after 8 years and i finally saved and got to see a referee. I need to know what i can do? I have been looking for a job in meantime I am a EMT so i take care of my mother who has ms and my 81 year old grandfather who raised me and they help me pay rent. The referee told me "YOU ARE NOT A AUTO WORKER YOU COULD AND SHOULD HAVE A JOB IT"S YOUR FAULT?" Then said I obviously can't take care of myself since i can't get a job and should have know problem since i was not a autoworker. Every job I have had except 2 have been for auto suppliers. So I am what not worthy to breath the same air as her. Travel, government, retail, food, ect are irrelevant to her and are either not important or hiding the jobs because i can't find one. She denied me any extra time or support relief because of that. I'm ready to give up I mean why even get up in the morning I'm a nothing in that referee / magistrates eyes. Please help. PS. I have been there every day since she was pregnant i cut the cord love him and my only fault is im poor i have a place he can live best schools in Michigan but taking care of my family (they can't afford a private nurse or drive) is not a job. It has payed the rent for 2 years I would do it for free but i got a good deal for a 2 bedroom all utility's included 500.00. I can take care of him. It's diffrent asking for a few hundred to send to her or using a charge card or cash to buy cloths school stuff ect. And he hates her but I will nt bring him into it. He's only a paycheck and babysitter for her and her husband and his and there 4 kids.
