How come it took almost four years for the Govt to realize there was a housing problem...

My friends and families knew it for almost four years as the factories stated handing out pink slips...

Had they driven around their own neighborhood or listened to their friends and neighbors they would have realized these houses were on the market for a reason...

Had the factories not been permitted to go over seas there would not have been jobs for the americans and there would have been no reason for companies to down size and lay off workers... There would have been a money flow and not the unemployment there is today...

No glut of "for sale "signs on the lawns and no reduction of investments in homes...
