Working for free!?

I went for an interview with this company called Big City Advancement. Yeah they got the name right. It's a big advancement for the owner Josie. When i went for my interview there was loud music, and also she interview "futher employees" two at a time.

I got a call later that day for a second interview witched lasted for two hours. All she (josie) talked about was how rich she got and her daughter and even her condo.

Naturally this peeked my interest to see what line of B.S. She was selling. So i started my training on that following monday. Of course i had to bring in 20 dollars for a background check. Strike #1, but i did it anyway. The first day we had to listen to josie talk on and on about how she got started and her past about her being broke and eating out of garbege cans. Then she went on to tell us about this wonderful fregrances created by sentura. She broke down each day what we are required to do in the training. Of course not mentioning anything about paid training.

On day two we were split off into groups and had a class call fregrance 101. To educate us on the differences of perfume, parfume and toilette products. We where instructed that at the end of the day, going back to day one we had to contact all of our familys, friends, and associates to selll this products by phone. She even made it seem fun by saying that whoever sells the most will receive a prize the next day. For each bottle the cost was 25 she gets 20 we get 5. We even had to laearn a pitch. "Hey check it out, we're promoting the top men and women fragrances and everythings up to 80% off" Day three we were assigned territories in the loop to go business to business to knock off these bottle of fragrances no matter what the weather rain, snow, hail wind. As long as we are making money for JOSIE she was happy. You didn't make any sells you were fired and sent home.

She curses a lot and she even have us to do an attitude check on a daily basis. Heck i was even invited to her and her husband Tim condo on the 30th flloor. So she could rub it in our faces this is what we could have in four years if we do what she say. My words not hers. So any how after "working" with her for nine days i quit and never came back. If you like working for peanuts and i do mean peanuts don't cross that door at 209 w Lake. Just find you some other source of income. Trust me you will be better off. This is a scam that has been going on for some years. And believe it or not it's legit.
