Misleading & Deceptive Sales Practices

We were led to believe that buying into this would relieve us of a two week time share in Aruba, for which we pay a hefty maintenance fee each year, and give us extra travel time in the US. We are in our 70s, not in good health, & unable to travel abroad with confidence and independance any longer. We were not given any money for the Aruban weeks. We also were not advised of the additional $80 (maintenance fee), over and above the $268/monthly purchase fee. Being on a fixed income with future medical bills for spouse's beginning dementia problems will be a hardship.

We need advise on what legal steps we can take. We would like our money back and Wyndham needs to be held accountable for taking advantage of people - no matter what age they are. Shame on The Wyndham association for becoming one of the many rip-off artists that our governmant allows to exist and function. Where is their honesty, integrity and business ethics? I guess like so many other things today, those virtues are really a thing of the past.
