False Advertising - Contract Rip-off

This summer I signed up for a special package where you agreed to pay five months and get five months free. The associate told me that I would pay one payment of $97.03 up front followed by four monthly payments of the same amount, and then would still be eligible for tanning for five additional months at no charge. So I made all the five payments up until September and was to begin my free of charge five months in October. Unfortunately, I paid very little attention to my credit card account, but in January I noticed my balance was unusually high and that At The Beach had continued to take payments of $97.03 out of the account from October to January.

When I made contact with the corporate office I was told that it did not state on my contract that I got five months free and that the summer special that gave ten months for the price of five was only eligible if all the first five months were paid in full. This is not what was sold to me by the associate, and I feel that At The Beach is responsible for the lie that I was told.

I finally managed to cancel any additional fees from being charged to my card, but they owe me $388.00 that they refuse to pay. I will forever pass along the deceptive acts that I was subject to by At The Beach and will continue to try and retrieve my money. Don't ever sign a contract or believe in the "special" package offers at this company!
