Unauthorized charge on Citibank account

I found an unauthorized charge on my latest Citibank statement, $189.95 charged to Essentials Gold. Their website (www.essentialsgold.com) shows them to be a membership purchasing outfit. When I called their toll-free number, a recorded menu asked for either a member number, a phone number or a (get this) credit card number (yeah, right). I terminated the call at that point.

I then talked to Citibank whose rep said he had fielded 3 other calls like mine today. They agreed to credit my account without much discussion.

After looking at the various entries on this site and at what comes up when you google "essentials gold", it looks like Essentials Gold is just a straight scam.
