Not a real job, rip off trying to get you to give them your banking information

Applied for a job on the Star Tribune for Accounts Specialist. After submitting my resume, received an email to have an "online" job interview through Yahoo messenger.

During the interview was told this is strictly and online position, but that if I were to be offered the position I would be training online for 5 days and the company would provide a new desk top computer with the software needed for the job. After having the job interview, was told they were sending my conversation to the "Board of Directors" but needed to verify my full name address and phone number. And that they would get back to me in 10 minutes.

I did not let them get as far as requesting bank information as while I was talking to them I was also googling Cindy Smith and Dglass and found this complaint. I called the Star Tribune to advise them of this company and the job it advertised and was NOT surprised to find that someone else had already called to advise that this job and company is just a fraud.

I let the interviewer know that after more research I would not have anything to do with the company or the "job" they wanted to offer.

Thank you complaint for having this kind of forum, I know I would not have ever given out my bank information but it's nice to be able to do research and stop the jerks in their tracks.
