Northwestern Trailways
Refund on ticket

Miscellaneous

Dear BBB, Approx January I purchased a ticket for my fiance to go see his daughter in Oklahoma. I bought a one way ticket to get him there cause at the time I couldnt afford a round trip ticket. Then on Feb. 11 I bought his ticket to come back home and sent it thru the USPS. This ticket was lost in the mail for approx 7 mths.in the meantime I had to buy another ticket and send to him. (I'm on disability an ever cent counts). During the 7 mths. I put a claim in with the bus depot (1-800 number) and was told if and when the ticket showed up I could then get a refund. When it did finally show up and I took all the steps I was told to take to get my refund I was told that beings it was a non-refundable ticket they weren't going to give me my money back. I was lied to in the beginning and feel like I was taken advantage of and now I have a ticket I cant use, alls I want is my money back. I kept my end of the deal but they havent. I also have a letter from Mr. Neill stating he cannot accept liability for the inefficiency of the U.S. Postal Service. The USPS also says they are not responsible. Alls I want is the money I paid for this ticket. Both parties are passing the blame on each other. Can you please help???

Sincerly, Norma Sams
