Thievery Incorporated - Illegal Seizure of funds

Using falsified documents, Grant-Webber convinced a Santa Monica judge that they were entitled to collection money owed to them. Without as much as a letter in the mail to notify us, Bank of America handed Grant-Webber over $5000 of our money, right out of our savings account. We consulted a lawyer who said it was going to be expensive to fight. The facts are that this debt (which we had successfully disputed with the original creditor) was fabricated and that they never served us summons is an outrage. I only thought this type of thing possible in Soviet Russia or China.
