National City Bank - PNC
Keeps their jobs by ripping off their customers with outrageous fees! They intentionally overdraft your account to charge more money

Wow! I thought it was just me who was having trouble with National City but after reading some of the other reports, I'm glad that it wasn't my imagination. If I had listened to a co-worker years ago who said that she thought that National City was taking her money, I wouldn't be in the worst shape that I'm in today. She had the sense to close out her account. My account is constantly being over drawn my no fault of mine.

I check my balance constantly and substract my transactions when needed. However, my account magically becomes overdrawn. When I talked to customer service at 1-800-866-6276, they made an attempt to explain what went wrong.indicating that I didn't substract my transaction. When I tell them I do, and that there was money left over in my account. They give me another explanation that I shouldn't use my account over the weekend because the transactions don't appear until Monday which is the business day. (I used my ATM card to buy gas twice and not on a weekend). And that I should use debit instead of credit, because whomever the company is who submits the credit transactions do so at their discretion. That they could even hold a credit transaction for 2 weeks then submit it for clearance.

This doesn't seem legal if at all its true. I have various check deposits made to my account and National City has eaten up every one of them. This time they charged me 9 times in the amount of $36 and $8.00 running fee each day the money isn't paid. I just got paid on friday and when I called the bank for a total I was told that I was $360 overdrawn. So by the time I borrow from a payday loan again to pay them I will owe them double and a fee to payday loan as well. Every time I pay the overdraft fee, they tell me they paid something else and OD my account over and over even if there is no money in my account and nothing is pending to my account.

So therefore, they are holding back debits/bills until my account is low and submitting them to od my account in order to charge me outrageous fees. If anyone has an idea about a class action suit, count me in. I am going to stop all direct deposits from going to National City, this is the only way out. They aren't leaving me with any money to live on. Any other suggestions???
