Amusing contradictory information

The Department of Prize Data notified me it identified "$1,254, 204.00 is pending, unpaid cash award opportunities as recorded in the most recent documentation that is now confirmed and guaranteed to you." This is a clever useless set of words which requires that I return a $12 processing fee with a stamp that it would be "void without fee." But more amusing is the insert that says "It is illegal to charge a fee to enter a sweepstakes." So I guess for $12 they would pass on my name to other ridiculous sweepstakes offers. I'm passing their name on to the attorney general.
