Deadbeat Dad Rip-off

Bill Borg and I are the parents of a son who was born May 14,1980. Bill would not admit to paternity so I brought a paternity lawsuit against him and the DNA testing proved beyond anyone's dount that Bill Borg was my child's father.

The court then ordered Bill Borg to pay a measly $92/month. My son is now almost 23 years old and I never received a dime from Bill Borg to help make my son's childhood more comfortable. Several times I asked him to contribute to something small such as a new pair of shoes for our son, but he never wanted to have any responsibility in any way.

I CANNOT BELIEVE that the State of Illinois allowed Bill Borg to thumb his nose at them for so many years. I wish it were true that "everything that goes around comes around" in his case. But it appears that there is a statute of limitations on past due child support, so he got away with it.
