H&r block emerald card is a scam. Newport News Virginia

I recieved a line of credit from the h&r block bank. I borrowed 800 dollars. They automatically hold $45 for annual fees and offer to hold the sum of $55 for you to inable you to make your first payment. What they don't tell you is that each payment that you make they add that back to your line of credit and you are able to continue to use the money even though it goes over the orignal amount of your loan.

When you call the 800 number to inquire about the extra sums of money nobody can ever tell you why the money is there. Every operator insists that the money is part of your original loan and is safe to transfer.

Today i found out that is absolutley wrong and is a complete lie on the part of h&r block. When in office applying for the loan the representative assures you that what ever amount that you borrow is the exact amount you pay back. There is no talk about finance charges or the 36% interest rate. I guess that is common sense and a very good reason why we should read the fine print.

Also when getting the loan h&r block assures you that as long as your taxes are filed by the 15th of feb. That you are in the clear and don not owe anything else to the company. Wrong again. If there is a delay for any unforseen reason out of your control you are still charged all charges associated with the account until the irs or whoever is at fault for the delay correctsthe problem.

By getting this loan with them ties me into having to file my taxes with them this year. This is the last year that h&r block will ever recieve money from me. I strongly suggest that when thinking about getting these loans that youthink twice and at all cost avoid them and h&r block.
