Taken for $36.00 by college mgazine scam

Miscellaneous

I'm not normaly the person that gets ripped off and am usually aware of most scams. I was so caught off guard when the young lady rang the doorbell selling magazines for LSS Inc. Saying she was trying to earn points for college. I'm allways for helping when it comes to education. She was very nice and I really let my guard down.

Needless to say I'm out of $36.00 she was aiming for $64.00 but I just could not afford that much. I was also fixing to leave to take my son somewhere and was in a hurry and in the process forgot to even get a receipt. I really feel so stupid! They were in the Pensacola FL area the first week of 01 they probably are long gone out of the area, but they may still be in the surrounding Gulfcoast area. Consumers please beware!
