Genuinely nice, young lady sold magazine subscriptions saying it was for college funds

Education & Science

A very nice, young lady rang my doorbell on April 18. She (Andrea Atkins) said that she was selling magazine subscriptions as a means for helping put low income students through college. She had a legitimate looking form and promised that I could get my money back if I was not completely satisfied. I wrote her a check for $30. And called the number on the form to verify that it was a legitimate company. The lady on the phone assured me that it was legitimate and we would be receiving the subscription in 120 days. We never received anything and when I called the phone number, a recording said that it was disconnected.
