I am a 20 year old single mother. My parents helped me get a 2001 chevrolet lumina so I would have a dependable car to go to and from school in and so my son would be safe.

This car is a joke. I have had nothing but problems with it. First it was an electrical problem, along with the battery and that was in the first 24 hours. Then I had to get my brakes replaced. My transmission has been in there 3 times because it jumps. And now my transmission finally broke. The torque converter... All of it. My car has 42000 miles on it and it runs like a beater.

They tried to say that I abuse my car... That I must race with it or something... Give me a break... With my one year old son in the back seat... YEAH RIGHT.

I contacted Chevrolet and they keep giving me the run a round... Telling me that its not their responsibility. How can I come up with 1500 to get my car fixed. ALL You single parents know how it is...
