Gave Wrong Account Numbe

I too like everyone else recived a letter in the mail from this company. I checked them out online, and noticed everyone saying they are a scam... Well I didn't believe it at first. I thought finally I get to clean up my credit. I have decided against this now. I really do have a past due account with the company they say. Only problem is... When they put the old creditcard number on the letter. They were off by one number. I know this because I got out my old credit card to compare. Sure enough, at the end of the numbers they put a 0 instead of a 6.

Sorry to say but I hope no one else falls for this.

I almost did. If it wasn't for this website I probably would have!
