I bought a Fridgedaire front-loader washer only 4 years ago from appliance warehouse in South Portland Maine.in October while washing clothes I heard a loud BANG. I called appliance warehouse and they refered me to ASAP appliance service "Bob"- This company responded right away and came to look at the washer on October 16th and charged me $80 for coming to my house and telling me it was broken. The parts were going to cost $200 and the labor $200.

After speaking with Fridgedaire about having a fairly new and now broken washer, they said they would cover the parts and not the labor. On the 18th of October the parts were ordered and ASAP appliance service explained it would take 2-3 weeks for these parts to come in. I have called every week since November and they continue to tell me they are not in, they will check into the parts and call me back. Not once have I received a phone call from ASAP appliances.

-I called Tuesday the 3oth of December to let them know that if they don't call me with information regarding my washer I will seek legal advice, the manager "Bob", stated he would call and check into the status of the order and call be back. I didn't here from him that day, so I called on Wednesday and he told me that he "finally got through to someone at Fridgedaire that spoke English" and that they would expidite the part and it would be here by Friday, and that he would call me on Friday either way. Friday came and went.

I called on Monday, now January, and he said the parts didn't come in on Friday and that they should be in by the end of the day and that he will call when the parts are in to schedule something as soon as Wednesday. It is Wednesday and I have not heard from this company. It is January, I have spent well over $200 in laundry mat expenses to wash our clothes. Not to mention taking 2 small children with me is nearly impossible to wash clothes at a laundry mat. This is the worst service I have ever had, not once did this company have the courtesy to call me whether the parts came in or not.

I feel like they came to my house, took $80 from me and are trying to avoid me and make me so mad that I say forget it and buy a new washer, believe me I want to. Can you image this company fixing my washer, and then if something didn't work correctly afterwards, I would never be able to get in touch with them. They scamemd me and I am pissed off. Please don't go through this company for anything, you will have months of frustration and they will rip you off.
