Tanya gave us a dog she had in her pet "sanctuary" she wanted my social security number to run a back ground check on my before she would give me the dog and i told her no... I asked her how she would do a check and she said "my husband is a cop" well i didnt give her any info and still got my dog... Thank God that my cocker spaniel is healthy... My friend bought the house they were living in in Carthage, NY and there were dig marks on the inside of the basement door and kennels down there. There was feeces all over the floor in the basement and they found a dead dog tied to the back porch... She also stole my friends puppies. Her siberian husky had a litter of pups and the mom didnt want to take care of them. She called tanya for advice and tanya came and took the pups then later claimed they died. The pups were in her "sanctuary" she ended up giving them away... During several conversations with her she claimed to me that the animals were number one in her book... When i got my dog there were about 50 other dogs in a tiny house with a fenced in yard that was so grose the animals were walking on their own feeces and urine. The yard smelled so bad it made me sick... I had to bring my dog home and give her a bath... I think that someone should investigate this so she doesnt take another animals life...
