Action Envelopes
Overcharge for restocking

Miscellaneous

I purchased clear envelopes for a project that I am working on. The envelopes were smaller than the stated size and I was not able to place my work into the clear envelope. It was too tight. I sent the envelopes back, along with a sample of the size envelope that I am using. I thought that they might be able to match the size with another product. My total price for the order was $37.47. They charged my account $61.00, and sent me an email that stated the extra charge was for re-stocking, because I did not re-order something. I never said that I didn't want to re-order, in fact, it was just the oposite. I e-mailed back and received a response from Jaime Laffey, purchasing coordinator. She states that there is a 25% charge if you do not order another product. I feel that this is a rather large amount and they shouldn't be allowed to charge this, I am very unhappy. This is the first encounter I have had with this company, and think that it is probably the last. Thank you.
