After activating a VISA debit card, checks in the amount of $10.00 were received by me in the mail from Great Fun stating that the checks were a sort of rebate for making card purchases.

As far as my memory serves, the fine print on the reverse side of the first two checks was omitted, therefore, were cashed. When the third check arrived, there was the fine print and the statement which begins as "By cashing this check..."

Upon reading this "statement", the check was immediately ripped up in hopes that they would cease all distribution, however, the checks continue.
This company STOLED $49.11 from my debit card. It was realized that nothing could be done, therefore, the card was discontinued to avoid any further fraudulent transactions from taking place.

It is not known exactly how they got this on, but who in their right mind would KNOWINGLY pay $149.99 to receive $10.00? Certainly, not me!

Beware of allowing yourself to be diverted to any type of website other than the one you are purchasing from! Refuse to enter any information on to any registration form other than the one you are actually purchasing from, as even though you may cancel the registration form in mid-stream, it's too late and the scamming company has your money.
