Pci compliance fees what a rip off

On dec we were sent a email and a letter saying that we were getting charged a 149.00 for a pci compliance program and then if we did not do it that we would also get charged an additional 20.00 a month until we comply.

The company pipeline data had previously not charged my company any type of fee like this before considering we had been with them for 2 years and a couple of months already. When i called and asked about the reason for this fee i got a big run around and alot of b.S. About how i needed to be compliant and that all their merchants were being charged this fee.

It was further explained to me that i had no choice in the matter and was automatically entered into the pci program already. When i asked how they could do this with out being asked i was told that i was emailed and that it should of been good enough.

I have since tried to cancel my account with them and sent in all the paper work provided to me and they refuse to close my account and try to charge me for other fees on top of what they say i owe them. I have agreed to pay them for the first round of fees but they claim i still owe them for the 149.00 and alot of addtional fees that i should not owe considering i cancelled out their service. I had to close out my business account and open a new one to try to stop them from taking money out with out my consent and by the way yes i did try to block them but they use other names to get their money so a new bank account is the only way to go. VIf anyone out there is having the same problem with this company and wants to file a class action suit i will be more then happy to get onboard with you just contact me. Beware this company at all cost...
