Russell Calkins and American Platinum Exchange, really one and the same company, is geared to rip you off. I originally was informed about the company's website americanplatinumexchange.com and agexllc.com, from a friend interested in coins. I called into the websites phone number and was sold by a Russell Calkins. He stated he was a portfolio manager and made very promising claims. He stated I could send him a check for the coins but he would have to wait 3 weeks for it to clear and it would be better if I sent cash. He has a deep voice and told me I could trust him. Even though the website wasn't very impressive, Russell made it seem like he was part of a large company and that they were a wholesale distributer. I guess I am just very gullible.
I have emailed him now over 20 times, he keeps telling me they are coming, when I ask for confirmation number or tracking code, he changes the email subject or changes doesn't email back. It is infuriating.
Upon doing research on the company I found Russell Calkins actually is the sole owner of American Platinum Exchange! And the "business address" 505 W. Wakonda Ln., Arizona, 85023 is ACTUALLY his HOUSE!
He has changed his email 3 times since I started doing business with him from
russell@americanplatinumexchange.com to russell@agexllc.com and on and on. He is constantly switching around information on himself just so people can't track him down. His numbers continually change as well, he has had 602-350-7779,602-926-8040,877-281-2739,877-281-APEX... The list goes on and on... As many as you can count. American Platinum Exchange and Russell Calkins are just a front for stealing your money!
This company seems very new, IF YOU DO BUSINESS WITH Russell Calkins or American Platinum Exchange or agexllc.com you will get RIPPED OFF!
