Violation of Lease agreement by Landlord & Illegal Entry into property

Regal Parc Apts have REPEATEDLY failed to correct their mistake. Time & again, I've received horrible service; my account (Apt 2211) has been mishandled.

I have always paid my rent early since moving-in in 2003. My December rent was paid on November 28th. It was signed/received and verified by Erica C at the office. My regular monthly rent is $805.00. I was supposed to receive a REFERRAL credit for $250, as per the Refer-A-Friend program. As per the promotion, Regal Parc would give me $250 credit if I bring a new tenant. As per my attached letter dated November 28th, Regal Parc office agreed and received (by Claudia & Jessica) this promotion & adjusted my December rent. Hence, $805-$250=$555.infact, it was them who asked me to make the check for $555!

Even after this, I received a notice on December 9th informing me about unpaid December rent. After calling the Regal Parc Office and speaking with Claudia at 4PM on December 9th it was once again verified that it was an ERROR on their side. She asked me to ignore the notice, and informed me that she will update my records to show timely payments. I was told the matter has been resolved & no action is required on my side.

On December 22, they served me a Notice of Exercise of Contractual Lien. My obligations mentioned in that Notice were already fulfilled on November 29th.By illegally entering my property on December 22nd, they have directly violated paragraph 13 of our TAA Lease Contract. Their reason for entering my premises - unpaid rent and late fees - is false and was completed uncalled for.By entering the premises, they have directly violated my tenant rights and privacy. Even after my repeated conversation with Loriane, Claudia and Jessica at the Rgal Parc Office, them verifying the receipt of my rent payment, I'm SHOCKED to receive Notice of Exercise of Contractual Lien. They have caused me pain, suffering, embarrassment and lose of time from work.
