Very Poor Maintenance, Outrageous, Lying, Shady Management. No hot water!

I have had nothing but problems with the Evergreen Apartments since I moved in. The Evergreen is managed by Stout Management. They have continually lied and ignored us after the hot water went out before Thanksgiving. The Evergreen is on of very few places using a centralized boiler system to heat water. There are no water heaters in each apartment. So, after they initially told us they were working on it, they have done nothing. They act rude and sarcastic.

When we went to the office to talk to the regional manager, Liz, she told us there would be no compensation and that by law she is only required to show that she is TRYING to fix the issue. She wouldn't tell us what was wrong or how long it would take to fix it. They are completely blowing us off. Code enforcement and the health department have been here numerous times and were told by the office that they would move us to different apartments or to a hotel. They also even claimed we had hot water when we did not. We are still without hot water and it is DEC 18!!!

I highly encourage other people not to rent from this management company. The regional manager actually called 911 when we went into the office and said that we were harassing HER!!! The police, however, did not deem it an emergency and did not respond to her. She said we were calling too much and bothing her by coming in even though we have been extremely nice and haven't called as much as other tenants. We have TRIED to be polite and patient but it is cold outside and inside too. We are freezing in the shower. Liz said there would be no compensation even though they had previously told us they would do something for us but didn't know what. Please Avoid this place.
