Job offered is Sales Reps. Rick the one of the owners tells you about the job and how much money you can make, They say many of their sale reps average more then $wk commission. The job is you are a independent contractor sales rep. (that means you pay for all your expenses) Going door to door selling aerial photos of peoples property.
You are paid commission on each pack sale of an aerial photo.

This is how it works. There are 30 photos in a pack. You get 20% on the first $600 sold, $40% on over $600 to $1000.00 and 50% on over $1000.00 on each pack of 30 photos. It all sounds great.,
But remember its on each pack of 30 photos. And some of them are out of focuses or just bad shots.

You get the job and they send you out to sell their product.
They send you to a county in another state with your car full of frames and around 10 packs of photos.
Remember its your car and your gas. And you are paying for the motels. (You pay all your expenses.)

I had this job.
Motels are $30.00 to $40.00 a day. 7 days = around $280.00
I sent around $20.00 to $30.00 a day in gas = around $210.00 a week
Now you want to eat. I sent around $15.00 a day on food and drink. That's around $105.00 a week.
You spent around $60.00 in gas to get to that county to work and $60.00 in gas to get home.
So now you already spent around $715.00 on expenses for the week.
Just hope your car didn't brake down or you didn't get a flat tire.

So you get to work and the county your working and it had just been worked by another company. Happens all the time. Rick will tell you that you will just have to work it harder.
So your first pack yields $400.00, your commission is $80.00
Pack 2 yields $700.00, commission is $160.00
Pack 3 yields $300.00, commission is $60.00
Pack 4 yields $150.00 commission is $30.00
Pack 5 yields $900.00 commission is $240.00
Pack 6 yields $500.00 commission is $100.00
Pack 7 yields $750.00 commission is $180.00
Pack 8 yields $200.00 commission is $40.00
Pack 9 yields $800,00 commission is $200.00
Pack 10 yields $600.00 commission is $120.00
So lets see how you did.
You had $4900.00 in sales and your commission for the week is $1130.00 not bad for a weeks work. Right!
Wait commission for the week is $1130,00 and you only spent $715.00 in expenses for the week. That gives you $415.00. On the way back your car brakes down and the shop wants $700.00 to fix it. So you pay the bill and go to the office to get paid. To bad but some of your customers wrote you bad checks and two people canceled. And now you lost $300.00 in commission so your check is now $830.00 for the week. You spent $715.00 in expenses and your check is $830.00 you made $115.00 for the week. You work 9 hours a day. So you worked around 63 hours that week. That's a whopping $1.82 an hour.
And remember your car repair was $700.00. So now you worked your but off all week and it only cost you $585.00 to work for Scenic Concepts that week. How well do you think it is going to go next week?
