No Longer Productive So I was Discarded Thanks Fred for your support! Rip-off

I worked for Savealot/Supervalu for approx. 6-7 years.in June of I was hit by a drunk driver, early taking my life. Was immediatly put off duty completly by Dr. (specialist), and family Dr., also by psyciatrist. All three agreed to have me off work due to back related injuries. And also post traumatic stress disorder. From the time this began I had no support from my ex-company, not even a phone call to see how I was doing!

Tremendous resistance from all concerned, from company heads to the company workers comp, which by the way is Kemper Insurance. I was felt by these people concerned as if I was trying to cheat them somehow.

To make a long story short. I recieved a certified letter stateing I was terminated while still under dr. Orders not to return to work, even though each and everytime I went to my Dr. Appointments, I immediatly faxed down to my company my work statis it was the first thing i would do when i would get home after each visit. Which i thought would have given any person of normal intelligence my work statis up to date. But that wasnt good enough for Savealot/Supervalu.

Just imagine this I got hit by a drunk driver barely escaping death... Going thru countless appts with drs., and specialists and i receive a letter from the company that im terminated!!! Talk about kicking a man when hes down. Nice company huh.?? My theory is this... As long as your productive your good as gold but the minute your hurt your dead weight to them. I was great as long as i kept doing the 6 day work week doing a average of 65 hours a week I even volunteered sometimes to work sundays to thought i was helping company. Man was i wrong.

I hope this letter gets to the right people and i really hope the persons involved will send me thier comments because i know for a fact i was dealt with wrongly but how can a blue collar worker fight the big corporations.?? I sincerly welcome their comments in fact i would like to meet with them face to face. But as you know as well as i do they wont. 6 years of my life wasted withn this ripoff company. And i advise all you employees to know all the facts before you open your mouths. Think about it if it was you that went thru this!!!
