Alleged disadvantaged door-to-door sales person uses deceptive practices to sell highly overpriced magazine subscriptions at prices substantially above newsstand rates. Cancellation of service is purposely made difficult. If you wrote these people a check and it hasn't yet cleared, I advise that you pay the canceled check fee and write the loss up to an educational experience.
