Psychic Scam at Walmart (apparently continues)

I didn't know there was a Ripoff site until this happened, but it makes me glad that there's a place to let other people know what's going on.

At Centennial Hills Walmart, I was approached by a woman who said she was Margaret Allen. She asked me if I believed in psychics and I said to a point. Well, she was a psychic. We talked. I gave her some money. After awhile, she approached me for more money. She had a really good scam going. She told me to call her right at 8 pm and gave me her card.

I feel stupid now, but I didn't try the number she gave me until after 8. And, of course, it didn't work.

Like another report about her, she mentioned her church and was definitely after more and more money.

I called Walmart and told them her description. She was an older lady, about 50 or so. Black hair that was mostly grey and wispy around her face. She was missing many teeth, had big black eyes, and was riding one of the carts... But it wasn't one of the store's carts, it was a personal one.

She wasn't dressed well, mostly in black; but she didn't smell.

She was definitely good at this.

I lost $100 to her. It was all the cash I had on me and I should have said "no". But what I do hope is that everyone else will learn from my mistake. I grew up just north of Fargo, ND on the Minnesota side. Good values, good people, no scams... Moving to Las Vegas is definitely teaching me the seedier side of life.
