Owner-Scott Miller I was mislead on the pricing, timing, and builder is completely unorganized

This is the 5th house I've built. I've never had so many headaches with all my other homes combined as I've had with SMC Builders.initially to even get the plan finalized, took him months.

Every step along the way there was a delay. He promised me the house would be done on the 31st of October. On the 29th of October I heard from one of his subs that the house would not be complete. He was on vacation and didn't bother to call me! He left myself and my three children homeless!

He made promises of subs showing up and they never did, and the worst part about this house is that it is costing me over 20K more than his bid! Additionally, he took draws for items that I didn't need. Today I realized his bid doesn't even include a driveway— he said I have to pay for out it out of pocket. What builder doesn't include a driveway?!

Do not use this builder. He is a scam artist. He acts like he cares about your needs at first and then he screws you over once you sign a contract.
