Fake company, fak website, fake AWB#, asking people to pay for the fee as the parcel gets stuck at the n custom

I just figured out today that the britcourierexpress' is fake. Their website is www.britcourierexpress.com'.

It started with an English guy (living in Wales, England) found my friend thru internet and keeps chatting with her (thru emails and phonecalls) for a month and falling in love so much that he asked her to get marry and will fly to meet her soon by end of December. He said the trip was planned, but he had to fly for business trip before heading to see her. He wanted to show his sincerity and true love by shipping a parcel contains HP laptop, engagement ring, perfume, jewelry, plus money thru this courier service. Later, it happened that the parcel got stuck at the Malaysian custom and they sent an email telling below..

Thereby, certain commissions must be paid as customs duty via us which is
for the immediate clearance of your package. For the main
time reference of tracking on the? Status" of your package is
pending, this is in accordance to the mode of operations in the

Unfortunately, my friend also got a call from the courier guy and she decided to transfer the money to them. They were trying to make her believe that it's real by sending her a receipt (fake) issued by the office of Malaysian custom. Looks like it's not enough as they sent another email as shown below..

Thanks god, my friend did not transfer any money and told me the story so I helped her check and finally found out that this courier is a scam! The receipt they sent was not real! I checked with the Malaysian custom office and found that it's fake! I even found out more that the website www.britcourierexpress.com' was just registered online for only a month! (registered in Nov'08).

I searched and found many victims with similar tricks the scammers use to fool people around. They might keep changing names of couriers, so please be careful. I hope this report is helping you who is suspecting this courier or others with similar trick. Pls help telling your friends to stop trusting this kind of scam!
