Sent check and official looking papers to be a mystery shoppe

I recieved a letter from a company asking me to participate in a mystery shopper job where I would shop at either Walmart, Home Depot, or JCPennies. Enclosed was a check for the amount of $3988.00 and the check looked official. Before even contacting the "assingment coordinator, " I looked the company up on the web to see what this was about. I found these reports and read through many of them. It shocked me how this scam has come out to people all over the U.S. The way it works is they tell you to deposit the check, then send a rep. $178.00, well, the check is fake, and you are sending the frauds this money, this means you are out at least $178.00.

Again, if you or someone you know recieved this mail, do not even bother calling, even the Better Business Bureau says this is a fraud. Anyone recieving this mail, contact your local BBB and report it. These people need to be stopped before to many people get hurt and robbed.
