Have not refunded money on a return item according to terms and conditions

My husband and I purchased a stone on this tv network. The terms and conditions state that if the item is not what you anticipated you may return it. We followed the rules. We returned it in the manner we were told to do so as an authorized return.

The item was received by the network on 10/28/08. According to the terms and conditions, we were to receive our money within 30 days. It is now 12-4-08, and we have not received the money.

We have called the people several times. One of the customer service people told me that it could be 90 to 120 days before we receive our money.

This is not fair!!! My money is not their money to hold!!!

This is somewhat of a scam as I perceive it. Anytime one uses money which does not belong to them for profit to themselves is cheating the consumer.
