I am currently enrolled at Sanford Brown College in Houston. My goal was to sign up for the ultrasound program but was told that I would have to take something else because I did not have enough college credit to get into the program. I decided to take Medical Billing and Coding. Upon being "considered for acceptance" into the school, my rep knew my concerns with doing the externship during the day. She lied to me! Flat out lied to me! She told me that I could do my externship in the evening so I signed up. She also gave me some stupid speech about me having the be accepted into the program. It was ridiculous but non-the less... I wanted to do the ultrasound program and if this was what I have to do to get in then so be it. I learned several months ago that they do not offer externship at night. You can imagine my response! I was shocked. I have been explaining to anyone and everyone what I was told when I started... Not doing any good. I have no idea why I am still attending at this point. Perhaps it is because they are charging me almost 14grand for this bs course. Now I am stuck paying it and I cannot even finish it. I was told that if I needed to do it at night then I would have to find my own sight. Are you freaking kidding me??? I am a single mother who works full time... EVERYDAY!!! Why on earth would I have put myself in this situation if I were not lied to! Figure that one out. I am dealing with idiots here.

As for learning. I hear that corporate is the one that sends down the curriculum. Half the teachers do not know what they are talking about. Not only that I have to sit there from 5:30 to 10:30 with NOTHING to do. This course is ridiculous! This course does not and cannot be taught for 5 hours a night 4 nights a week because there is not that much teaching. Not only that... We have done anatomy and physiology for the past 4 to 5 months. NO coding as of yet. We keep going over the same stuff... Every month.

I would never recommend this joke to someone else. I plan to take legal action against this school if I cannot finish this program because of the lie my rep told. As a matter of fact... She gets a bonus for every student she enrolls. As long as we make it past the first month that is. She would come by my class to see if I was there... Thought maybe she cared about the ones she enrolls... She did not. She was ensuring her bonus. Have not seen her since.
