Ripped off by not disclosing a charge for a "free" trial

I am very stupid. Can't believe I fell for it, for goodness sake I build web sites and ecommerce sites. I should know better. I guess it shows how deceptive this company is.

I was on-line doing some Christmas shopping. Somehow saw the free trial bait, and thought my 21 year old daughter might want to try the product and see if it was something to purchase. I intended on giving it to her by way of gift wrap, under the tree. I never even opened the box. How could I possibly have seen the "postcard."

I get a charge on my bank account. I called to inquire, got their take on the situation and then I asked if I could send back my unopened free trial they said no. It was as if they all were reading from the same"script".
I tried many times to get them to see reason, to actually practice customer service, to redeem themselves. They shove you off, the last call I made the actually hung up on me before saying have a nice day.
I am shocked, mainly at myself.

I am in the process of purchasing a domain that will highlight this company's practices, and the many people who are ripped off.
