After more than two months, still cannot get refund on returned merchandise

After purchasing more than $2000 in merchandise, I Returned three items. AVC received these items more than two months ago and I still have not gotten a refund on my credit card. I have made several calls and each time I have been told that they are resubmitting my claims. The customer service employees are very understanding and seem to be aware of what is going on, but have no control over the situation. I will never purchase anything from this company again and would tell anyone and everyone to beware of this company. Their products are poor quality and getting a refund is next to impossible.
